About Us

ValorTransparentOur Mission: Improve community health through individual fitness and wellness, group challenges and community involvement.

Valor S&F is a non-profit, 501c3, gym that targets communities that would not otherwise have access! We seek to bring together low and upper socioeconomic people together to further their fitness, health and athleticism though shared effort and SWEAT! We were originally founded by GORUCK Tough individuals who met through multiple events, and came together to start a shared in-vision of improving the health and fitness of the under served. In GRT terms to “build better American’s”

What is known

  • Low social economic populations are at a disadvantage to accessing physical training and healthy food options.
  • Multiple, common diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, depression, PTSD, etc – all known to affect low socioeconomic or under served populations, and are greatly improved by regular physical activity.
  • Group settings are therapeutic and effective because people in group settings feel both accountable and supported.
  • Mixed income neighborhoods create positive long-term outcomes on health, education and sense of community

How do we plan to effect our mission?
